Dominic Hill Associates are Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors based in Eastbourne, East Sussex.

Having established the business in 1993 as a sole trader, representing just a handful of local clients, its current Managing Director has applied his knowledge of how small businesses need to operate and respond, to changing economic conditions and markets, in order to expand and diversify the company.

Today there are twelve staff with specialist skills, working in an office with some of the most up to date technology available to the accountancy profession.

Dominic Hill now has a very wide and varied client base, from barristers to builders, from charities to churches. They provide services to individuals and companies both in the UK and internationally.

Question : How do you charge for your services?
Answer  :
  • The basic services such as accounts and tax return production are charged on a fixed fee.
  • We assess the type of business you have, the standard of the information that you keep and then give you a price for completing the work.
  • As long as you provide information the way we have agreed and within a reasonable timescale, then there will be no change to that fee.
If you require additional services or more specialised services then there will be additional fees based on the time and skill required to complete these tasks.

Question : Why do I need an accountant?
Answer  :
  • There are so many rules and regulations with running a business. Do you really have time to keep up to date with all of them? Wouldn't it be better if you could concentrate on the things you are best at?
  • Because we regularly retrain and keep up to date, we can save you time and money by helping you to keep your finances fit.

Question : Do I have to maintain my own books and records?
Answer  :
  • You can get as involved in your accounts and bookkeeping to any level that suits you.
  • The more you do yourself the lower the fees from us will be. The less you do, the more time you have to concentrate on your core business.
  • We can provide training.
  • We can provide a full bookkeeping service where you can send your information to us for processing by email or prepaid envelope.
